Unisson Hits its Stride at Expos

At the end of 2021, Unisson attended two important expos, including the Sydney Disability Expo at Homebush from December 3-4 and the Nepean Disability Expo from December 10-11. These events have generated many enquiries across the full range of Unisson's services, from Supported Independent Living, Community Services and Supported Employment.

A number of Unisson staff attended the expos, including Elke Schreiner and Andrew Page from Unisson Works, Teresa Lam representing our Support Coordination team, Tammy Grady from Marketing, Megan Vicary and Emma-Chloe Ford from the Client Engagement team, Liz Gregory from Community Services and Peter Ansky from Client Services.

It was particularly pleasing to see the direct enquires we received from support workers wanting to join the Unisson team!

Families and potential clients made it clear that they are wanting to participate in innovative and creative programs, and they were particularly drawn to our Cooking Program and Urban Adventurers Program which are available through our community access program.

We love having the opportunity to chat to people in person at expos as it allows us to get an understanding of how we can support our current and new clients to the best of our ability.
