NDIS participants to explore Vivid Sydney with Unisson
Unisson Disability, a leading NDIS service provider will run a series of fun-filled excursions to Vivid Sydney, the festival of lights from 30 May – 13 June for NDIS participants.
The excursions allow individuals to experience the highly anticipated installations of the year all while connecting with others in the community.
The packaged experiences include the Vivid Sydney Harbour Cruise on 30 May, Vivid’s internationally acclaimed Lightscape at the Royal Botanic Garden on 6 June, and the light installation walk through, where clients can experience the dazzling lights alongside tourists and other Sydneysiders on 13 June.
Unisson’s General Manager of Community Services Ben Droll says the packages are opportunities for NDIS participants to be independent and feel confident participating in the larger-scale events within the community.
“There’s been huge interest in the social and cultural events within Sydney and these packages give NDIS participants the confidence to experience the exciting displays at Vivid, with the support from our staff,” he said.
NDIS participants can expect to see “the biggest and most culturally relevant program of the year”. Celebrating 14 years, the theme for Vivid in 2023 is ‘Naturally’, reflecting nature across more than 300 attractions, including mesmerising art displays, 3D light projects and live music performances across three weeks.
