Home and Living Support 🏡

Finding the right living arrangement is about more than just a house—it’s about feeling safe, respected, and supported. Here’s how we help you create the home that works for you:

  • Supported Independent Living (SIL): Shared living accommodation with 24/7 support to help you build daily living skills. This experience combines shared spaces with personal autonomy.
  • Supported Living (SL): Flexible support for those living independently or with family. Think of us as your helping hands—offering support when and how you need it. Our drop-in services can provide as much or as little help as you need, giving you the freedom to live your way. This service is also known as Assistance with Daily life.
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA): Our SDA homes are purpose-built for people with high physical or complex needs. They’re designed for accessibility, comfort, and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Individualised Living Options (ILO): Your home, your way. We work with you to design a customised living arrangement that reflects your unique preferences and needs.

Community Access 🌟

At Unisson Disability, we believe life is better when it’s shared. Our Community Access programs are designed to help you connect, grow, and thrive through activities that are meaningful and fun. All our programs are centred on four key pillars that inspire every experience:

  • Adventure:
Discover new experiences and challenge yourself with activities like hiking, swimming, and fishing. Adventure is about stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing the excitement of something new.
  • Lifestyle:
Build confidence and independence by learning life skills that make a difference. From cooking classes to gardening, sewing, or even designing your own outfit, these activities are practical, engaging, and rewarding.
  • Culture:
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world around you by attending events and festivals like Mardi Gras, Vivid, and the Easter Show. You might also enjoy a night at the theatre or other cultural experiences that enrich your perspective.
  • Wellness:
Take care of your mind and body through activities that keep you moving and feeling great. Play soccer, join a dance class, shoot some hoops, or find your inner calm with yoga. Wellness is all about prioritising your health and happiness.

Spaces for Connection and Growth

Our Community Hubs are welcoming and inclusive spaces where you can engage in activities, build skills, and make lasting friendships.
