Hornsby Short Term Accommodation (STA) has many new activities to offer clients, as well some new facilities and opportunities that are being developed at the house.
According to Team Leader Elizabeth, “We have explored the beach, headed down to Wollongong, mowed the lawn and learnt some in-house living skills. We have cranked up the music while learning new dance moves.
“We have also begun to modernise the house, ordering 5 new smart TVs for the rooms, meaning clients will be able to access Netflix and YouTube. We are also continuing to develop our dining area into a games and craft room.”
Hornsby STA has created a new program called ‘Gateway to Sydney’ which allows our clients to try new and exciting things – such as going on the steepest railway in the world (Katoomba Scenic Railway); visiting the new zoo in Western Sydney; or jet boating on Sydney Harbour.
According to Elizabeth, “Each week is themed, so our clients can choose what program suits them – such as adrenalin junkie, learn and grow, or rejuvenate.”
